Although not all gardeners can afford to have those high-tech gardening tools available in the market, there are at least some basic tools that every gardener must have.

Most of these are hand tools, which are used for cultivating like rakes, shovels, trowels, spading forks, and diggers. The list can still go on, but these are only basic tools that can help you prepare your garden plot for planting.

Other useful gardening equipments are power tools, which are more expensive than hand tools. Power tools are designed for heavy tasks.
